In this tutorial, our tutor will demonstrate how to create a wedding hoop using fresh plant materials and a natural vine base. This style of arrangement is a unique alternative to a traditional wedding bouquet that can be used for the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls.
The design is relatively lightweight, versatile, easy to hold and can be created using fresh, dried or even faux flowers. Depending on the brief, you can use different types of bases, such as wire, wire wrapped in ribbon, moss and so on.
Our tutor demonstrates how you can make this design from scratch, introducing all of the different equipment and plant materials used.
If you are looking for a more eco-friendly approach, you can easily remove the floral foam from the ingredients list and just use the chicken wire. For make up, I would recommend to put together on the morning of the event or as late as possible the day before, similar to the buttonholes, flower crowns or corsages.
