In this demonstration, our tutor provides you with an insight into the mechanics and techniques involved in creating a chandelier arrangement for an event or wedding. This design incorporates a combination of fresh foliage, fresh flowers and artificial faux flowers.
Top tip: When creating large installations, especially suspended arrangements, using artificial or dried flowers can be more cost effective. Not only can they be repurposed or kept by the client as a keepsake of the event, they are long lasting, do not wilt and good value for money.
Other mechanics include foam netted garlands, moss roulade and green chicken wire. Practice in your own workshop with foraged greenery to understand the steps involved, especially time.
