Corporate Topiary Tree
Topiary Tree with Corylus stems
Time: 20 minutes and 15 seconds | Season: All Year Round
Today, I am going to show you how to create a contemporary topiary tree. This is a great design for decorating functions, creating instant visual impact in a corporate setting, for a product launch at a PR event or in the entrance of a lobby in a restaurant or hotel lobby.
A topiary is a special form of gardening where plants are manipulated into certain shapes. This design adopts this concept using plant materials within a contemporary composition to create a visually impactful design for a corporate setting. This style of design can also be employed to create smaller scale table centrepieces for assorted functions as well as larger floor standing versions that you can use to embellish the entrance to a church, marquee or hotel.
Tips: If the design is sited at a customers home or event, you can advice the customer how to care for the design to prolong the shelf life of the design. It will depend on how long you require the design to last for.
If you would like to recreate the design, you will need the following:
Quantity | Plant Materials / Equipment |
---|---|
1 pair | Scissors AND Secateurs |
1 | Punch Bowl |
2 | Floral Foam Bricks |
1 roll | Anchor tape |
3 stems | Corylus Stems |
2-3 | Foam spheres (or alternatives i.e. chicken wire) |
15-20 stems | Carnation red |
15-20 stems | Rose Spray red |
2-3 stems | Chrysanthemum Spray Green |
2-3 stems | Moluccella |
1 pack | Green stub wires |
1/2 punnet | Carpet Moss |
Thank you so much for watching this demonstration. I hope this design has provided you with an insight into creating a contemporary styled topiary tree for a corporate setting, event or wedding. As we approach the latter part of the year, companies, restaurants and hotels are preparing to transform their venues with lavish decorations. …
