Spring Wreath
Create a Spring Wreath with Fresh Flowers
Time: 15 minutes | Season: Spring
Approx. wholesale cost: £10-15 + labour mark and delivery cost (adapt size based on own preferences)
Wreaths are not just for Christmas! They are a great way to kick start the season and welcome guests into the home with a riot of colour. Whether you are looking for a creative outlet or hosting a workshop for clients, friends or family, we love making wreaths any time of the year!
In this demonstration, our tuor illustrates how you can incorporate delicate, softer stems into your wreath designs with the use of water vials. The use of fresh flowers brings a fresh element to the wreath, but once faded can easily removed or replaced. The wreath is constructed on a wire frame with moss, however you can use other types of bases including vine wreath, birch, preserved moss base, or even a foam wreath frame (plastic back is preferred if hung).
If you wish to re-create the design, you will need the following products
Quantity | Plant Materials / Equipment |
---|---|
1 | Wire Frame 10-14″ |
1 punnet | Carpet Moss (sheet) |
1 bunch | Daffodils |
10 stems | Muscari Blue |
1 bunch | Pistache |
1 reel | Salix Salim |
1 roll | Binding Wire or Green Twine |
10 stems | Pussy Willow (real or faux) |
1/2 – 1 bunch | Eucalyptus |
1-2 stems | Viburnum Opulus (or similar) |
1 pair | Scissors or Secateurs |

Beautiful Spring wreath. Loved the way you used the tubes and covered with moss. I will be trying that! Thank you!
