Caring for Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemums are long lasting, cost effective and easy to care for.

In general, remove all foliage below the waterline, cut with a sharp knife or scissors and hydrate in a solution of water with flower food for a couple of hours before storage or usage. The bottom portion of some mum stems can be woody, make sure that you cut the stems above this woody tissue in order to facilitate water uptake. Refer to the video on how to care for chrysanthemums for flower arranging & floristry.
